Financial Orders of the Court

The Court can order your Spouse to pay Child Support and Spousal Maintenance in addition to other regular expenses of the marriage until the Final Decree is entered. This can include mortgage payments, utilities, childcare and medical insurance for you and the children. Also, if you can prove the need, the Court can order your spouse to pay your attorney fees.

Medical Insurance / Reimbursement

The Preliminary Injunction prevents any changes to the medical insurance in place covering the spouse and children. If medical expenses are incurred that are not covered by insurance, the parties share them either equally or in a ratio established by the Child Support worksheet and Temporary Orders.

Legal Separation vs. Divorce

If you are not sure a Divorce is right for you at this time, Arizona law offers the possibility of a Legal Separation. The Court handles the matter just like a divorce, but in the end you are still married and can reunite if things work out for you and your spouse.
